Learn about the tasks of zookeepers.
For children between 6 to 12 years and adults from 18 years up.
Junior/Senior Animal Caretakers can attend different workshops on different days. The different workshops focus on different species. The program covers everything that makes up the job of a keeper. The idea of the workshops is to cover and reflect the different facets of a keeper's daily life at the Parc Merveilleux.
Meeting point: Participants are welcomed at the main entrance in front of the ticket counter.
The junior/senior keeper's retreat point in the park is the forest kitchen next to the mini zoo. This is where food is prepared, tools are cleaned, enrichment materials are set up, and supplies are stored.
Target group :
- Junior caretaker: children aged between 6 to 12 years
- Senior caretaker: 18 years and over
Duration:
- 2 hours: Reptiles, South America
- 3 hours: Lemurs, small predators and farm animals

The aim is to leave with a unique experience you won't forget.
During the workshop, (junior) participants will receive a snack-box with a drink and a badge with a design of their choice.
A total of six children (without accompanyong adults) can participate in the workshops.
