Zooschule Programm im Park

Zoo School Offers - Cycle 3

Click here for a more detailed description.

The Parc Merveilleux is home to almost 200 different species. During your guided tour, we'll take a closer look at some of them. You'll learn a lot about them by observing and describing them. Do they have feathers or fur? Where do they live? What do they eat? Are they threatened with extinction? Feeding the animals is also part of the program. Content is age appropriated.

Join us on a scientific expedition throughout the park. We're going on a search for dinosaurs. We'll be meeting their relatives and observe them closely. You'll ask questions and draw conclusions, just like real natural scientists do. You'll find out if there are real dinosaurs living in the park. If you find some, you'll get to feed them.

(This tour is currently only available Monday through Wednesday. It is not possible to accommodate 2 groups at the same time for this theme. However, a tour on a different theme is possible for a second group).

Most children love rodents, and want to cuddle them. Parc Merveilleux is home to many different rodents, but not all of them are cuddly: some are heavily armed and others have huge teeth. Let's discover and study this large group of animals.

(The guided tour will take place mainly outdoors, so don't forget to bring weather-appropriate clothing!)

What do predators eat? How do they catch their prey? What do their teeth look like? Do they live alone or in groups? Find out in our Predators workshop.

(The tour will take place mostly outdoors, so bring appropriate clothing for the weather!)

How is our zoo organized? How many animals live at the park? What work has to be done every day? Where is the food prepared? Who takes care of sick animals? Find out about all of this and more with a look behind the scenes at Parc Merveilleux.

What exactly is a forest? What are the different types of forests? On an expedition through the rainforest, we'll encounter a variety of exotic plants and animals. But why are these biodiverse forests disappearing? We'll discuss the reasons and look for solutions together.
